A website is a group of related Web pages usually containing hyperlinks to each other and made available online by an individual, company, educational institution, government, or organization.
A website can have many pages such as; Home page, About Page, Products or Services Page, Blog Page, Contact page, Privacy Policy page, Terms of Service page etc.
However, here are usually the four pages that you can find on almost any website.
Home
This is the landing page of your site. It’s often the first impression a potential client gets of a business. It should have aesthetic visuals and all to keep users glued on the page.
It is also a good practice to have all the other pages linked to the home page so that a user can easily navigate from one page to another.
About
This page tells a user what your site is all about. Add some fun facts with numbers, pictures or something to make you stand out from competitors and resonates with the users. For example, you give some brief information about your employees of the company.
An interesting history on how the company started. You could also go all out and be more creative with the page.
Contacts
The main purpose of a site is for users to get in touch with you. You can add your company’s mail address, social links i.e. twitter, Instagram, map location, business hours. Whatever it is that is relevant.
This will help to keep people on your website, create a better user experience, and lighten the load on your inbox or support team
